Hi Group, We're pleased to announce the initial batch of MNX issues for review by the group. All of these have been flagged with the Active Review label, and can be viewed in the following GitHub filtered search: https://github.com/w3c/mnx/issues?q=is%3Aopen+label%3A%22Active+Review%22+sort%3Acreated-asc For your convenience, we'll reproduce the list here: #25: altMNX: An alternative to the CWMNX+GMNX proposal #2: Should system notations be interspersed within regular parts? #6: How should directions be positioned metrically? #32: Distinguish directions that are not scoped to any particular sequence #50: What the W3C means by "semantic" If you are a group member, please consider carefully reviewing these issues, studying the proposals made so far in the specification, and adding your thoughts to the corresponding GitHub discussions. The decisions made by this group are only as broad as the thinking contributed by its members. As described in the Review Process ( https://www.w3.org/community/music-notation/wiki/Review_Process), the chairs will keep an issue discussion going while it's either bearing new fruit, or yielding more information on the community's overall thinking. Thanks, and we're all looking forward to the ensuing exchanges! Joe, Daniel and Michael
