Hi Joe, It is indeed intended that the value should scale according to the size of the notehead, but the spec doesn't make that clear. I've added issue #70 to add some clarifying language to the spec for this case. I will also have a think about whether any of the other engravingDefaults values need similar clarification. Is it expected that this value would be proportionally adjusted to reflect any scale factor applied to the note heads? I didn't find any explicit language to that effect. Using the same leger line extension value on grace notes as for normal size notes, at least in some fonts, results in a somewhat weird looking appearance with an oversize leger line. . . . . . ...Joe - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Steinberg Media Technologies GmbH, Frankenstrasse 18b, D-20097 Hamburg, Germany Phone: +49 (40) 21035-0 | Fax: +49 (40) 21035-300 | www.steinberg.net President: Andreas Stelling | Managing Director: Thomas Schöpe, Hirofumi Osawa Registration Court: Hamburg HRB 86534 - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
