Dear Community Group Member, This is a Call for Review of proposed amendments to the charter for the Music Notation Community Group: https://www.w3.org/community/music-notation/wiki/Revised_Group_Charter Please review the amended charter at the link above and indicate your support using this online form: https://www.w3.org/2002/09/wbs/81249/MNCG-2017-1/ The deadline for responses is 23:59, Boston time, on 10 August 2017. If you have any questions or need further information, please contact the co-chairs via the contact information provided on the form. The proposed charter has been developed from a proposal by the co-Chairs and includes feedback from an initial informal review period. The main change from the current charter is that the scope now includes a set of separate MNX deliverables with specific responsibilities, split into a thin common framework (MNX), a semantic encoding specific to Common Western Music Notation (CWMNX), and an idiom-independent encoding of graphics and performance information (GMNX). The review itself follows the process outlined in the current charter, which provides for a 30-day period of vote. Thank you, Joe Berkovitz, Michael Good and Daniel Spreadbury, Co-chairs W3C Music Notation Community Group
