Hi there, I'm a researcher working in [CompMusic project](http://compmusic.upf.edu/). My main reasearch topic is Ottoman-Turkish makam music and I'm the maintainer of the [SymbTr collection](https://github.com/MTG/SymbTr). Even though some of the symbols are shared not only between Arabic, Persian and Turkish systems but also with the microtonal systems originating from Europe etc., they all have their own implications and distinct understandings. Therefore I would also agree with @infojunkie and go for the third option. -- GitHub Notification of comment by sertansenturk Please view or discuss this issue at https://github.com/w3c/smufl/issues/44#issuecomment-212032052 using your GitHub account
