Hi all, FYI, the i18n WG discussed these yesterday http://www.w3.org/2013/01/31-i18n-minutes.html#item05 the outcome for directionality was: Norbert and Richard will propose text for the section so that is says the right thing http://www.w3.org/2013/01/31-i18n-minutes.html#action03 The expectation is that if there are changes in the values defined for directionality, the implementers would just "transport" these values in their implementations, e.g. to XLIFF. Yves and Philip, let me know if that is fine by you. This would close issue-209, issue-214 and issue-241. For ruby, we need to continue the discussion what to do. It was also discussed whether ITS would have an update to accomodate the to be expected changes for ruby and directionality in HTML5 or its successor, e.g. ITS 2.1. Let me know if you have any thoughts on this. Best, Felix
