Hi Pablo,

 

It’s because in XML the rules are part of the tree of the input document, while in HTML the XML rules are inside a <script> as text and therefore not directly (as nodes) part of the tree of the HTML document. In HTML they are parsed at a secondary level.

Hi Leroy, Felix, all,

 

Sorry if this was discussed before but I have just noticed that for the examples of the Test Suite the output of XML files contains the its elements, for instance /text/its:rules[1]/its:provRule[1] on example provenance1xmloutput.txt, meanwhile on HTML files that doesn’t happen, see provenance8htmloutput.txt, is this correct or is it a bug?
