Hi multicast-cg, Tomorrow's meeting will be at 5:30pm UTC (9:30am Pacific time), I hope to see you then. Proposed agenda: - 5 min: welcome and agenda-bash - 30-45 min: Status update & discussion - multicast-quic demo implementation is (barely) under way. So far I just have chromium's quic_server and quic_client built and chrome speaking with a local quic_server. I've started digging for where what changes are needed, but haven't done anything to the code that I'm happy with yet. The process was slightly more painful than expected, but roughly doable based on: https://www.chromium.org/quic/playing-with-quic/ - I can maybe check in my notes somewhere if anybody else wants to run this. (I think the main sources of trouble were that when you run fetch, you can't use --nohooks like it said in the chromium docs, plus finding the right command line values to pass to --ignore-certificate-errors-spki-list.) - revealed the upcoming quic plans during the mboned session and gave the IETF a status update: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ItCG-TN-TwQ&t=23m48s https://datatracker.ietf.org/meeting/113/materials/slides-113-mboned-multicast-to-the-browser-status-update-113-00 Comments/questions on that also welcome. - Updated the amtgw docker container to support IPv6 and added some instructions, plus stood up a v6 sender that I still have running. Maybe should also touch up the getting started doc to incorporate some mention of these? I don't love its current form, but at least it's something: https://github.com/GrumpyOldTroll/amt/blob/master/README#L68 - 10 min: Next Steps Jake ----- Meeting coordinates: Monthly Multicast W3C Community Group Meeting Hosted by Jake Holland https://akamai.webex.com/akamai/j.php?MTID=m46e51f96f443eda24eed93ad804cb8df Wednesday, Mar 2, 2022 9:30 am | 1 hour | (UTC-08:00) Pacific Time (US & Canada) Occurs the first Wednesday of every month effective 1/5/2022 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM, (UTC-08:00) Pacific Time (US & Canada) Meeting number: 145 142 6461 Password: yay-multicast!
