mobile checker not handling html5?

The page I was checking:  http://farmnet.nfshost.com/

Based on the error types - no valid document declaratiion, no coding 
specified, etc it appears the checker was trying to evaluate the page as 
xhtml?

Is there a different I should have used for html5?
