Seeking participants for Mobile Accessibility Task Force

Dear Mobile Accessibility community group participants,

The WCAG WG and UAWG are looking for participants for a joint task force focused on performing research and developing techniques to help authors meet WCAG 2.0 for the mobile space. The initial work statement can be viewed at http://www.w3.org/2013/08/draft-mobile-a11y-tf where the objectives and deliverables are detailed.

If you are interested and can commit your time and expertise please send use the contact email address on the work statement page and let us know a little bit about what you're interested in and how you think that you may be able to contribute to the task force. Even if you are not interested yourself, please let us know if you have recommendations for people you feel would be a good fit for this work and we can reach out to them (or you can forward this email to them yourself).

This task force is different from the community group in that it is forming as an extension of the WCAG WG and UAWG. As a result all task force participants will need to be or become members of one of these working groups either by joining though their organization's W3C membership or by becoming an invited expert.

Please take a look at the work statement and send any questions or comments, and let us know if you are interested.

Thanks,
AWK
