Hi all,

Yesterday we had a discussion about missing accessibility properties on Android. One property that was mentioned is accessibility state.

It turns out Android 11 (API 30) has already added the setStateDescription property to AccessibilityNodeInfo. This allows us to indicate the current state, e.g. "Expanded" or "Collapsed".

I've updated the sample on Appt: https://beta.appt.org/en/samples/accessibility-state<https://nam02.safelinks.protection.outlook.com/?url=https%3A%2F%2Fbeta.appt.org%2Fen%2Fsamples%2Faccessibility-state&data=05%7C01%7Cpsubramanian%40hagroup.com%7C7a6ef8efab194e54214908dac1946bf0%7C9e37b9e905de4906b089536f19689074%7C0%7C0%7C638035141198912303%7CUnknown%7CTWFpbGZsb3d8eyJWIjoiMC4wLjAwMDAiLCJQIjoiV2luMzIiLCJBTiI6Ik1haWwiLCJXVCI6Mn0%3D%7C3000%7C%7C%7C&sdata=I2gnKOph3knrDaJ%2Br42UMg9Yxz9KDPmjLAu3nWWc5Ls%3D&reserved=0>
