Regrets as I am on leave. Henby From: "Patrick H. Lauke" <redux@splintered.co.uk> Date: Thursday, 27 October 2016 at 12:39 To: <public-mobile-a11y-tf@w3.org> Subject: Re: Agenda Oct 27 Resent-From: <public-mobile-a11y-tf@w3.org> Resent-Date: Thu, 27 Oct 2016 11:40:04 +0000 Regrets for today, will be tied up with client work. I have, however, gone through some of the loose ends on m1, m3 and m10 https://github.com/w3c/Mobile-A11y-Extension/tree/gh-pages/SCs (mostly tidying up some of the remaining TODO parts) - mainly removing any hanging "TODO" parts, and adding a few tiny clarifications (not substantive). > - M7 No Focus Trap - > https://github.com/w3c/Mobile-A11y-Extension/blob/gh-pages/SCs/m7.md I'd add here that currently this particular SC is still rather nebulous. I'm not 100% sure it's needed, as I can't currently envisage a situation where focus is trapped in a way not already covered by the current WCAG 2.0 2.1.2. I note that Detlev shares this concern as well. Particularly in light of m1, m3, m4 and m5 (which cover some of the aspects mentioned currently in m7, such as the danger of relying on key combinations which are remapped by AT), I'm wondering if this SC is still necessary, and/or if it's not more a case of seeing if 2.1.2 can be slightly reworded to not only cover keyboard focus, but focus in general (including AT focus). I'd be happy to iterate over this one on mailing list for next week?
