Hi all, My proposals are in an attachment to this message: https://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/public-mobile-a11y-tf/2015Mar/0003.html It includes one new section: 2.4 Non-Linear Screen Layouts With limited screen “real estate” but a variety of gesture options available, mobile developers have experimented with a variety of screen layouts beyond the conventional web paradigm in which the user begins at the “top” and generally works down. Some mobile layouts start the user somewhere in the “middle” and provide highly dynamic visual experiences in which new content may be pulled in from any direction or the user’s point of regard may shift in various directions as previously off-screen content is brought on-screen. Such user interfaces can be disorienting when the only indicators of the state of the user interface and what is happening in response to user actions are visual. The WCAG 2.0 success criterion related to the issue of non-linear layouts is: 1.3.1 Info and Relationships (Level A) Cheers, Jan (MR) JAN RICHARDS PROJECT MANAGER INCLUSIVE DESIGN RESEARCH CENTRE (IDRC) OCAD UNIVERSITY T 416 977 6000 x3957 F 416 977 9844 E jrichards@ocadu.ca<mailto:jrichards@ocadu.ca?Subject=Re%3A%20AUWG%20Teleconference%20for%2017%20March%202014%20%28Boston%20time%20has%20changed%20-%20%20please%20re-check%20time%29&In-Reply-To=%3C0B1EB1C972BCB740B522ACBCD5F48DEB012E4B50AC%40ocadmail-maildb.ocad.ca%3E&References=%3C0B1EB1C972BCB740B522ACBCD5F48DEB012E4B50AC%40ocadmail-maildb.ocad.ca%3E> ________________________________ From: Henny Swan [hswan@paciellogroup.com] Sent: April-15-15 1:37 PM To: Alan Cc: kim@redstartsystems.com; public-mobile-a11y-tf@w3.org; Andrew Kirkpatrick; Joshue O Connor; jimallan@tsbvi.edu Subject: Re: Mobile A11y Task Force Agenda Thursday, April 16 Regrets as I’m also delivering training this week.
