I apologize for starting this group then being out of touch for a while ... been traveling then catching up on work, rinse and repeat. I will be out of town all next week as well ... but hope to get back in the saddle again by Sep 20. In the mean time I would like to call for a vote of participation. We have many people who joined this group (Thank you !!!) I would like to hear from you all if you are still interested in participating. I know the topic is intentionally vague. But before starting on any serious work I would like to know if there is enough interest in even getting started. I have put up a straw-man problem statement on the wiki. http://www.w3.org/community/mmarkup/wiki/Problem_Statement I would appreciate everyone on this list in the next week or 2 to take a moment to read this problem statement, and decide if you are still willing to participate in this group. You dont have to *agree* to the problem statement, it's just something I put up to get a discussion going. But if OTOH no one wants to participate I dont think we will have enough of a quorum to make progress in this forum. Comments greatly appreciated ! I am looking forward to begin actual serious work by Oct. -David Lee ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- David Lee Lead Engineer MarkLogic Corporation dlee@marklogic.com Phone: +1 812-482-5224 Cell: +1 812-630-7622 www.marklogic.com<http://www.marklogic.com/>
