Spatial Data on the Web WG

Hi all! 

As an advocate of open and interoperable Augmented Reality for over 7 years, I’m happy to be part of this group and looking forward to working together to develop a universal and open system to map, via URIs, geospatial coordinates and digital assets pertaining to them. 

By way of this message I’m suggesting that we compare and contrast the purpose of this CG to some other work in W3C that, IMHO, is highly relevant: the Spatial Data on the Web WG [1]. For example, in the Use cases and requirements report [2], there is a section summarizing the purpose/benefits of discoverability [3].
