RE: Event Invitation: MiniApps WG & CG Joint Meeting

Dear WG, CG colleagues,

My regrets for this meeting (24 Aug). I won’t be able to join the meeting today. I’ll be traveling at that time.

Just a brief update on the MiniApp Components specification. Recently, I’ve merged all the pending PRs that made a more solid document. I think this change is important because one of the main concerns that affected the review of the WG re-charter was related to this document. I presume the review was based on the previous draft that didn’t include the clarifications of the objective of the document, so I understand the objection raised. Now, we have a better explainer [1] and a more structure spec [2].

Regarding the rest of the objections for the re-charter, also understandable, I have collected some background information of previous related technologies that can complement the explainers or the introductory information of the charter.

I’ll read the minutes and add my feedback to them if needed.
