Latest meeting summary follows: 2020-04-09: https://www.w3.org/2020/04/09-miniapp-minutes.html Projects update: URI Scheme: discussing the feasibility of using HTTPs as MiniApp URI scheme, comments welcome via GitHub issue. LifeCycle: completed the initial draft, now preparing an informative explainer. Widget: made fixes to its English translation. Manifest: fixed remaining issues and filed issues on packaging, preparing explainer. Packing: continue adding content. Wrt explainers: need to clarify the difference between MiniApp and PWA by explaining the technical architecture of mini apps. Next steps for MiniApp standards in W3C: The CG targets to launch a Working Group (WG) to standardize MiniApp proposals. The group plans to: review and clean up open issues on GitHub submit remaining proposals to TAG review secure more than two vendors' implementation intents prepare WG charter based on current CG Charter send advance notice on the draft WG charter to solicit early feedback from global vendors propose the draft charter to W3C for formal review goal is to launch the WG in October Meanwhile, group keeps working on MiniApp Accessibility requirements and Privacy & Security self-review.
