Metaverse studies

I am writing to you in my capacity of President and Chairman of the Board of Moving Picture, Audio, and Data Coding by Artificial Intelligence (MPAI). MPAI is working on several areas of standardisation. One of them is the MPAI Metaverse Model (MMM), currently published at http://mmm.mpai.community/ as WD0.5 with a request for Community Comments and planned to be adopted as MPAI Technical Report on 25 January.
The MMM proposes an approach to Metaverse standardisation, based on a process honed during decades of digital media standardisation, and a roadmap, that is considered suitable to deliver industry-supported standards for an area as complex as the Metaverse.
I am transmitting a copy of the MMM. We would be happy to initiate a dialogue with a view to open a channel of communication and potential collaboration.
