Hi all, I'm on a *very* long and not very interesting conference call and realise it's a good opportunity to check on my W3C AC email - and I see this BG! GS1 is definitely interested in improving eCommerce - that's why were at W3C at all. My role since I joined GS1 (from W3C where I was on the team for 8 years) has mostly been about making our identifiers (like EAN/UPC) part of the Web. Product identity (and shipment ID, and traceability, product recalls etc.) is where we're at. Looking forward to the future discussions.
