Dear all, Having resolved the remaining issues we determined required for publication [1], this is a call for consensus to: 1) Publish a First Public Working Draft [2] of Encrypted Media Extensions v2 [3] on the W3C Recommendation Track, 2) Publish the HDCP Version Registry [4] on the W3C Registry Track as Draft Registry [5], and 3) Set up auto-publication, so changes to these documents also update the published versions on w3.org/TR. Similar to Media Source Extensions [6], where we use the short name "media-source-2", the proposal is to publish using the short name "encrypted-media-2". Note that publication will open an exclusion opportunity under the W3C Patent Policy [7]. Please reply to this email and state one of the following: * I support publication of EME v2 and the HDCP Version Registry * I object to publication (please detail any concerns). The CfC will run for 2 weeks, ending on Thursday 20 June.
