Dear all, This discussion is also planned in tomorrow's telecon agenda. We have opened a number of bugs in the HTML5 bugzilla tracker. 3 of them have been resolved by Hixie as WONTFIX. In details: * BUG 12426: http://www.w3.org/Bugs/Public/show_bug.cgi?id=12426 Should the @loop loop over a media fragment or not? NO according to Hixie since he hasn't see "compelling use cases" for this. * BUG 12425: http://www.w3.org/Bugs/Public/show_bug.cgi?id=12425 Should the UI (and UX) playing a temporal media fragment be standardized? NO according to Hixie, as soon as the processing is done in terms of the API, it will be conforming even if the UI is not intelligible. * BUG 12427: http://www.w3.org/Bugs/Public/show_bug.cgi?id=12427 Should the UI (and UX) playing a spatial media fragment be standardized? NO according to Hixie, since it should be the MIME types that support the media fragment syntax that should define this. For all this resolution, we are left with the choice of: a) agree with the resolution and mark up the bug as 'closed' b) disagree with the resolution and either re-open the bug with new information or escalate into an issue for the whole WG to look at. Feel free to indicate your preferences in this thread for those 3 bugs.
