Dear all, I've seen in the list of use cases & requirements that you planned to discuss an item related to HTTP streaming. There seems to be an opportunity related to MPEG/DASH activity (for Dynamic Adaptive Streaming on HTTP). Indeed, the ad-hoc group for DASH has recently defined an "evaluation experiment" on means to address "Anchors in Media Presentations". They explicitely mentionned as possible candidates the Media Fragments URI (as well as MPEG-21 Part 17). Some initial use cases are: the possiblity to indicate time-range into a media presentation or to refer to a specific section.
