Dear Silvia, > OK, I'll wait sending it out until you've posted the bug update. I have just re-opened the bug entry, http://www.w3.org/Bugs/Public/show_bug.cgi?id=10723 >> * ISSUE-18 deals with the processing of media fragment URI in RTSP. It has >> been suggested that the WG will produce a *new* document, based on the work >> made by Silvia available in our wiki, that will get the status of a WG note. > > Wasn't just me - Davy probably contributed more. Don't want to take > credit for work I didn't do. Sure, no problem. >> I have an action to open a POLL to see if the group agrees with this >> (action-207) >> If yes, we should start editing this new document early next year. Anyone >> volunteering to be the main editor? > > Can't we do what we do with current documents - have everyone editor? > Then we don't have to wait for a single person to make changes. Sure, we can have multiple editors. The main point of this action is to have a group decision that this part will not be included in the specification, but in a separate document, with the status of a WG note. If we absolutely wish to have this section in the main specification, then it would mean another LCWD (since it would be a major change) and it would also mean additional implementations and test cases. I will open a poll now. Best regards.
