I was not able to find in mediacapture-main what really happens.

As a simple example, say a camera produces (natively) 1000 (h) by 2000 
(w) video, and a constraint saying I want the width to be exactly 1800 
is applied.

Would it be cropped, or scaled? And if scaled, would the height be 
scaled equally (to 900)?
