alvestrand has just created a new issue for
https://github.com/w3c/mediacapture-main:

== Specify that getSettings omits non-applicable settings ==
On an audio track, the only sensible thing to do about width, height
and framerate is to not return them.
Similarly for echoCancellation on a video track.

The text should be explicit about this; today it says:

It must contain each key returned in getCapabilities(). There must be
a single value for each key and the value must be a member of the set
defined for that property by getCapabilities()

https://w3c.github.io/mediacapture-main/getusermedia.html#dom-settings

Suggested rephrase:

It must contain each key returned in getCapabilities() for which the
property is defined on the object type it's returned on; for instance,
an audio MediaStreamTrack has no "width" property. There must be a
single value for each key and the value must be a member of the set
defined for that property by getCapabilities()
