RE: rationale for getUserMedia on MediaDevices

Thanks Adam for sharing the context!



Based on the thread<http://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/public-media-capture/2014May/0258.html>, a good reason to keep NavigatorUserMedia.getUserMedia() is there are implementations and sites using it already.  I agree MediaDevices.getUserMedia() looks nicer, but don't see clear value keeping both options.



We should get more input from other folks as well on this.
