https://www.w3.org/Bugs/Public/show_bug.cgi?id=26623 Bug ID: 26623 Summary: Use commonest spelling of "cancellation" Product: WebRTC Working Group Version: unspecified Hardware: PC OS: Linux Status: NEW Severity: normal Priority: P2 Component: Media Capture and Streams Assignee: public-media-capture@w3.org Reporter: harald@alvestrand.no CC: public-media-capture@w3.org Current spec has: echoCancelation - boolean - When one or more audio streams is being played in the proceses of varios microphones, it is often desirable to attempt to remove the sound being played from the input signals recorded by the microphones. This is referred to echo cancelation. There are cases where it is not needed and it is desirable to turn it off so that no audio artifacts are introduced. This allows applications to control this behavior. The far more common spelling of "cancellation" uses two Ls (and this is also used in the Chrome implementation, so it's not a breaking change). We should change this throughout the document. (while we're at it: proceses -> processes, varios -> various) -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
