Having an origin on Tracks will constrain what the UI can do with them. Hasn't there been a lot of discussion of the levels of restrictions we might want: hair check only, send to remote peer only, full access, etc. How will we do that if we don't have origins? - Jim -----Original Message----- From: Stefan Håkansson LK [mailto:stefan.lk.hakansson@ericsson.com] Sent: Friday, September 27, 2013 8:34 AM To: public-media-capture@w3.org Subject: On bug 22213 "what is the origin of a Track created by getUserMedia?" Hi, I don't think we have discussed this very much, but the input from Anne goes in the direction that we should not have origin on MediaStream's or MediaStream tracks. Do people see a big need for origin, or can we skip that (at least for v1)? https://www.w3.org/bugzilla_public/show_bug.cgi?id=22213 Stefan
