Going back to make fundamental API changes now is a much bigger hump to get over. I'd like to see if there are smaller changes we could make that would ease moving to a Futures API in the future (no pun intended). Such changes might also make it easier to build a Futures API JS library on top of the current API in order to experiment with the idea and refine the design for eventual incorporation into the spec. -- Randell Jesup randell-ietf@jesup.org
