Is there a writeup of the issues that were found with canvas fingerprinting somewhere easily accessible?

Is https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Canvas_fingerprinting an adequate writeup?
That article cites "5.7 bits of fingerprinting entropy" - I don't know how we relate fingerprints to each other, but is that a large or a small number?
