I agree, "browsing session" isn't defined like that. "Browsing session" doesn't relate at all to when cookies are cleared. Here's a shorter reformulation: 1. Two tabs to X and Y -> X1 and Y1 are different. 2. Cookies are cleared for X -> X2 is different again. Note that under my model, there is no way to test that persistence is longer when gUM permission has been granted.
