Thanks for re-opening, @stefhak! I think the priority here is to first determine if all engines currently allow `getUserMedia()` calls from inside iframes. Chromium does as long as it's a [secure context](https://w3c.github.io/webappsec-secure-contexts/), @upsuper can probably say exactly what Gecko does, and I don't know who to ask for Edge and WebKit.
