<jo_> Minutes of last meeting: https://www.w3.org/2021/05/12-md-odrl-profile-minutes.html

Jo: there are 2 actions - visible in the notes from the last meeting

Ben: I haven't had a chance to do my actions, if we could put it on the next meeting

<jo_> bring forward discussion on IDs to next meeting

Mark: I have an LEI, you'll see us (DataBP)
… it was a satisfactory experience
… (describe the process)

Jo: thanks for that report Mark

Resolution: Accept minutes of last meeting

Jo: I would like to resolve and accept the notes from the last meeting
… Michelle: how are you?
… we got this action for you, in case you've done it and wanted to talk about

Michelle: I did look at a few examples from our sourcing team
… you've got a couple of types, one where you are contributing with a view of getting back (e.g. valuations) it is around the usage of it and it is something we can accommodate, there are a couple of comments around the concept of valuation that might be useful, I've got a couple of examples that I wanted to circulate.
… there is the other type of contribution where 'we' provide data to other vendors and they aggregate it with other sources, and we might buy it back. Often there are arrangements around the buy-back, which is usually anonymised.
… you have agreements, I can send a bit. Those are the main types of contribution agreements. I can summarise and see if the language is accommodating.

Action: Michelle to circulate her summary and conclusions on Contributor Agreements

Jo: if you could send that stuff to the list

Ben: it all sounds great, can't wait to see the material.

Jo: based on the discussion I had with Ben earlier, <describes the actions to take to reduce scope of agenda for today)

Identifiers

<jo_> Skip for today, other than Mark's contribution above, and GLEIF has not got back

Various Discussions

<jo_> defer to next meeting

FISD Update

Ben: <describes conversation to FISD>

<jo_> Mark and Ben to present to FISD Exchange group on June 10

Ben: Jo has agreed to be the moderator !

Ben: <continues with the agenda for the FISD panel>

Action: Ben to call side meeting re FISD

Review of Feedback

Jo: consider we only have 1 meeting scheduled between now and FISD
… <asks who can attend a meeting next week>

Action: Jo to promote idea of a workshop on list (tentatively 120 mins 2nd June at 4.00)

Ben: thanks to everybody that gave feedback, great stuff. Mortified by my spelling mistakes.
… I thought what I am going to do is share a copy of the standard
… which I've been working on and so long no one has comments coming back, I will swap it for the main standard after this meeting.
… I will go in order over the most important changes
… one of the things Jo said to me is that perhaps we can reorder it to make it self contained
… in a sense that was relatively easy to do
… <describes the standards and the concept of resource>

Action: Ben to continue discussion on Parties and "attribute" or not

<jo_> Discussion of Party Roles - addition of Existing and Prospective clients causes the set to be disjoint, which worries some participants

<jo_> Discussion of Laura's comment on Calculating Index: distinguish creating a new index vs customising an existing one

<jo_> Question if this is a tri-party agreement - Laura will investigate further

<jo_> Discussion of ownership of IP in such cases. Ben to capture the discussion in a note.

Ben: quality assurance out of scope - put a note on the document
… if we need to make a distinction or not with data management
… <Discussion about assurance/data quality/fee waiving/exclusion of reporting>

//

Jo: thanks Ben, I will send out the notes and propose a meeting for next Wednesday

AOB

<jo_> Thanks to Josh for scribing and wishing all best in future endeavours!

<jo_> -- meeting closed
