RESOLUTION: Accept last minutes of the last meeting

Ben: posted link of actions and purposes of things this group is trying to achieve.
… seems there are a number of actions allowed by market data, by combining some properties we can be quite expressive by what is allowed or not
… to start with a set of vocabulary terms, some examples of combinations and finally how some marked data licences can be translated
… expecting some feedback into the correct mapping.
… there is a list of the possible actions <Ben describes what is on the page>

Mark: what we want from the group is that the actions listed are the full set or to build further with the group

Ben: my aim is to describe the whole page and then describe the items themselves
… <Ben continues describing the details of the page>
… <Ben moves to the license description part of the page>

Nigel: <describes his understanding of a Reference Price Based System and how it matches Ben's interpretation as a potential Platform Trading>
… will take some of this to a compliance team to see if there are any bizarre or obscure terms missing

Laura: for now this probably works, probably go away and internally see our internal trading and compliance agree

Ben: that is fantastic, I will also take it to the Exchange to see if we are capturing the intent accurately

Emily: is platform trading meant to be agnostic if trading is on or off the exchange

Ben: maybe, it is not clear to me so far from the licenses
… <Ben moves to the NYSE contract example>

Laura: will check the details of NDU (from the page) for NYSE internally.

Ben: <describes the possible combinations attributes that could be used in the MD language to cover the licenses>

Jeremy: a big part of our business is the retail brockerage, we have a lot of components and we see a new purpose more specific to research and we have display and NDU for research, and we might want to include other elements for non-display.
… so it is something to consider, research, separate from trading.

Ben: are the underlying assets different?

Jeremy: is a different use of the same data (asset).

Ben: moving to CME (from the page)
… there is another pattern worth picking out
… should we be repeating this as a pattern, the automatic trading and the 'signal analysis' as separated permissions

Nigel: they have separate licenses, trading with them vs a third party/separate entity

<Ben & Nigel discuss the some specifics of the CME license example>

Ben: there is a distinction between a derivation and a derived product

<Ben describes the CME 'Derived Data' license>

Ben: does this feel like we are going going in the right direction or does it mean we will have to add a lot of new terms?
… is there something significant missing?

Nigel: I have a question about CME: here you got 2 clauses separated by an OR

Ben: my interpretation is that you get 2 permissions

Ben: I appreciate feedback, iterate around the things that we've said today and discuss such iteration in the next meeting
… move to the next item on the agenda
… related to the PoC

Caspar: We think for the PoC, current vocabulary is fine

Mark: as soon as you can, if you can provide some ODRL output we can try to represent it dynamically on the DataBP side.

Ilya: we seem to have a feature complete of our PoC
… we are passing a policy around provided by DACS and have a simple way to grow beyond from where we are today. We've completed a few of those targets and ready for a presentation when the group is available.

Ben: can we do a demo in a fortnight ?

Ilya: sure

Ben: AOB?
