Benetech presenting our results from the Accessibility Maturity Model

Hello Shawn, and the APA Chairs,

This past week during our Maturity Model Task Force call I gave a presentation on Benetech's results from each of our 11 departments going through the Accessibility Maturity Model and the spreadsheet created by the APA's Maturity Model Task Force. The presentation itself is about 20 minutes long and provides some insights from us going through the process along with specific scores we received from each department and how I collated that data and averaged it to obtain an overall Benetech score. I also presented this to our Senior Leadership Team at Benetech who found the results informative and provided recommendations on how Benetech can improve our overall accessibility for each department and Benetech as a whole. I received permission to share the presentation with the W3C although privately as we wouldn't want to make all our results public. Our CEO Ayan Keyshore also wondered if there may be an opportunity to jointly promote this with a shared blog post or something with the W3C and Benetech.

It was clear when I presented this at our Task Force meeting this will also help us improve the overall model based on the findings from Benetech having gone through this process.

I was curious if this is of interest and if you would want to schedule a meeting where I could share this presentation and our results with a few folks at the W3C and anyone from our own Maturity Task Force that were unable to make the presentation this past Wednesday.

Thanks
Charles
