Editing/authoring math on the web (conversation starters)

Hi everyone,

+1 for the editing topic from me. Though all topics are quite important,
especially layout and accessibility.

To try and frame a basic high level perspective from the editing end:
 * Should the editing and layout technologies for web math have
no/some/full overlap?
 * Which editing workflows currently pose challenges?
 * Is there interest in auxiliary tools for editing, such as a math
clipboard, others?

One interesting existing tool that probably belongs chiefly in this topic
is MathQuill, which needs to tackle both editing and layout challenges at
the same time. I wonder if we have someone affiliated with their team in
the group?

Just some starting thoughts to start out a thread.
