Low Vision W3C Community Group

Hi all, based on our discussion in last week's teleconference I have created a W3C community group for low vision. The intent of starting this community group is to allow more people outside of W3C members and invited experts to join our teleconferences and work together towards our goals which include providing supplemental guidance on supporting users with low vision and beyond.

The intent once the community group is up and running is to carry on the bulk of our work in the community group. Any materials we published would still be reviewed by the Accessibility Guidelines Working Group and we would continue to use our process of using Zoom and IRC for teleconferences and use Github for collaboration.

I'd ask all that are interested to join the community group and share with others that are interested in participating. You do have to have a W3C account to join the group - if you are not a member you can create a free W3C account for this purpose. Once 5 people have joined the community group it can move from proposed the status.
