Dear LVTF, I just found this excellent article that gives very accurate information on the numbers of people with low vision in the USA. https://jamanetwork.com/journals/jamaophthalmology/fullarticle/2658295 Journal of the American Medical Association, Jan 2018. They use some geeky abbreviations: PVA=Presenting Visual Acuity, BCVA=Best Corrected Visual Acuity, <20/40 means less than 20/40, <20/60 means less than 20/60, <=20/200 means less than or equal to Legally Blind. I found a few things interesting. The rate of low vision >20/40 to 20/60 is quite high, even among young people 18 to 44. That prohibits driving in many regions and impairs reading significantly. Both issues limit employment. I am sorry the attached Table is an image of a table. Perhaps I will copy it by hand and distribute it. Best, Wayne
