HI Jim, I'm really sorry, I can't make tomorrow as it was the only possible time for a client hand-over call. I'll do my best to contribute though, could someone reference this email during the agenda? My comments below. > Agenda+ Contrast: Interactive Elements > we have one issue about scrolling and fixed backgrounds changing contrast of interactive items. Testing for items that scroll across different backgrounds should apply to all the contrast SCs (and possibly others), can it be tackled outside of the SC text? How does it apply to the current 1.4.4? My current understanding is that if you (the tester) can scroll the page to get a different contrast for an element, then you test it on the weakest contrast if that is what a user could get. > Agenda+ Contrast: Informational Graphics +1 from me (but I would say that ;-) > Agenda+ Line Length I'm not convinced that this SC adds anything if we have reflow. I might just not be getting it, see my email in that thread. > Agenda+ Hyphenation If Andrew is on the call, could he weigh in on whether it has to be possible in a non-HTML technology to be considered for 2.1? > Agenda+ Reflow to Single Column I had a comment on the exceptions, hopefully Wayne can reply to me before the call, it wasn't a big issue. > Agenda+ Text Colors I suggested turning the SC text around so it is about maintaining functionality when the user applies color changes, I think that would align with WCAG 2 a bit better. > Agenda+ Size of All Content I think this one is pretty much ready, although it would be nice to rename the page "Resize content" to match the intended title. I would also suggest dropping these two, moving them down the table and marking as "on hold" or similar: - Seeing All Interface Elements (covered by Resize content) - Text size (covered by Resize content + Reflow) - Line length (only if people agree with my assessment) Kind regards, -Alastair
