Dear all, we are happy to announce the public beta of the CSV2RDF service and the mapping creation on the PublicData.eu portal wiki: http://wiki.publicdata.eu/ Governments and public administrations started recently to publish large amounts of structured data on the Web, mostly in the form of tabular data such as CSV files or Excel sheets. The PublicData.eu Mapping Wiki enables the crowd-sourcing of the large-scale semantic mapping of such tabular data. Default mappings are automatically created and can be revised by the community using this semantic wiki. The mappings are executed using the sophisticated Sparqlify streaming RDB2RDF conversion [1]. The PublicData.eu Mapping Wiki processes all ~10k CSV resources available at PublicData.eu. User can navigate to the CSV2RDF mapping wiki page from the resource or dataset page on the PublicData.eu portal [2]. Metadata about datasets is available inside the wiki pages by the means of Semantic MediaWiki. Example queries over the data as well as example mappings can be found on the popular page [3]. I would like to thank the members of AKSW research group [4] in particular Sören Auer as well as the OKFN [5] and LOD2 project [6] for their support. Ivan Ermilov, AKSW research group.
