DEADLINE EXTENSION: Due to numerous requests, we have decided to
extend the deadline for SMAM 2013.

Abstracts are now due on July 12th and full papers are due on July 19th.

Introduction
------------

The SMAM workshop at ISWC 2013 provides a forum to explore and promote
the applications of Semantic Web Technologies in the domain of music
and time-based media. Emerging activities in research, development and
production, driven by projects in both academia and industry, are
already spanning many aspects of the creation, management, discovery,
delivery and analysis of musical and media content. This workshop
brings together this community to share information and practice, and
especially to articulate the research agenda in Semantic Music and
Media, e.g. "end-to-end semantics" through the lifecycle of digital
media. This workshop aims at facilitating innovation and helping to
achieve the full potential of Semantic Web in this domain, as well as
informing Semantic Web research and its application to this area.

Submissions
-----------

We welcome the following types of contributions:

 * Full research papers: up to 10 pages long, these papers will be
assigned a presentation slot during the workshop followed by a
discussion.

 * Position papers: up to 4 pages long, these papers will be assigned
a short presentation slot followed by a discussion
 * Demo papers: up to 4 pages long, these papers will demonstrate a
specific application of Semantic Web technologies to music or
time-based media. They will be presented during a demonstration
session at the workshop.

All submissions must be in PDF format and must follow the LNCS style.
Contributions must be submitted through the SMAM2013 EasyChair page.
Submissions are not anonymous. Accepted papers will be published
online on this web site and via CEUR-WS.

The papers must be submitted before July 12th, 2013.
