Dear all, Is re-using existing vocabularies crucial for modeling "good" Linked Open Data? What do you think? Please share your thoughts and participate in my survey: http://freeonlinesurveys.com/s.asp?sid=6rdb8pacxd4n1eg242766 Background: My name is Johann Schaible and I am a research associate at the GESIS Leibniz-Institute for the Social Sciences in Cologne, Germany. Please support me in the progression of my Ph.D. thesis on the vocabulary recommendation system LOVER. About the survey: We have designed the survey to study how Linked Open Data publishers and Ontology Engineers consider the good practice of re-using existing vocabularies. The survey will take 15-20 minutes during which you will be asked a few questions and rank a few modeling examples from good to bad modeling. The results of this survey will be published and shared with the community. Benefits: - Please help the community to understand the procedure of re-using vocabularies in detail. - Participate in the survey and get the chance to win one out of three 30€ Amazon voucher. Last but not least: We do not collect any sensitive personal data. We are serious researchers and all survey participation will be treated anonymously. Thank you, Johann ------------------------------------------------------------ Johann Wanja Schaible
