I don't know about that. It was a phased release for sure, but that's as 
far as I would go re. rollout attributes :-) As you can see from my G+ 
thread [1] they certainly applied some kind of profiling algorithm (not 
a bad thing per se.) to this endeavor.

I suspect it works for you today. It does for me, and I suspect a 
majority of participants in my experiment.
