Jonathan, A few years ago I had a conversation with the folks at Metaweb about issues they were having with Linked Data deployment and exploitation. During that conversation they brought to my attention the fact that a number of widely used frameworks simply fault on on HTTP 303. Basically, these framework only handled 200 OK and 404. I don't remember which frameworks specifically, so I am hoping this public post can unveil the current state of play via comments from others. Anyway, if there are still a large number of widely used frameworks that fault on 303 you end up with an often overlooked issues re. 303 redirection as it relates to the kind of HTTP usage patterns that underpin the Linked Data meme and its associated best practices. This problem is somewhat similar to some widely used frameworks still sending hash URIs across the wire as part of HTTP message exchanges. -- Regards, Kingsley Idehen Founder& CEO OpenLink Software Company Web: http://www.openlinksw.com Personal Weblog: http://www.openlinksw.com/blog/~kidehen Twitter/Identi.ca handle: @kidehen Google+ Profile: https://plus.google.com/112399767740508618350/about LinkedIn Profile: http://www.linkedin.com/in/kidehen
