STI Innsbruck is a research institute at the  <http://www.uibk.ac.at/>
University of Innsbruck engaged in research and development of semantic
technologies, with a current focus on scalable on-line communication based
on machine-processable semantics. STI Innsbruck is developing the Semantic
Communication Engine Innsbruck (SCEI, pronounced "sky") which includes
methods and tools for highly scalable on-line communication supporting
processes, such as yield, brand, and reputation management. We are currently
looking for a

 

 

Senior Developer and Leader for the Semantic Communication Engine Innsbruck

(40 hours/week)

We expect

 

Excellent knowledge and interest in programming of Ruby on Rails (PHP and
Java are a plus)

 

Excellent knowledge and experience in software design and architecture

 

Strong desire and proven ability to lead a software development team 

 

Good knowledge of Content Management Systems, i.e. Drupal

 

Good knowledge of semantic technologies 

 

Successfully completed Masters in Computer Science, or a related area

 

Fluent in English
