Deborah's talks are usually very good, and I would recommend it. But I have some quibbles about the title: "Ontologies come of Age in the Semantic Web" Ontology is as old as Aristotle. Cyc has been developing ontologies since 1984, and they devoted over 1000 person years to writing them. That would make ontologies considerably older than the Semantic Web. Furthermore, if you download OWL ontologies, you might notice that the overwhelming majority of them don't use any logical features beyond what can be stated more clearly and concisely in Aristotle's original notation.
