Callimachus 0.13 Released

Hi all,

The Callimachus team is pleased to announce a new release!

Come join us and get familiar with the new release on Thursday
October 27th (details below).

= 0.13 Released =

Callimachus 0.13 introduces many new types of resources to help you
build your Web applications right from the browser. These include a
graphical document editor (Articles) and source markup editors for
xhtml, js, css, and txt.

You asked for it and now you have it: Callimachus 0.13 now allows
resource authors to choose their own URI paths. Gone are the forced /
page/ and /rdf/ path. Now when creating new resources a "Save As.."
dialogue appears! Through the use of folders, users can create their
own path segments. these folders can then contain any RDF or supported
file resources.

Together with the introduction of folders, Callimachus 0.13 has
adopted a permissions model that more closely follows familiar
permissions of common file systems, but in a Web-y kind of way. The
permissions of a resource are now much more transparent as they can
easily be seen in the folder view.

Those upgrading from 0.12 must read the release notes for instruction
on how to migrate a Callimathus Web application to 0.13. See
http://code.google.com/p/callimachus/source/browse/tags/0.13/RELEASE_NOTES.txt
for details.

Join the Callimachus Day

Who can join a Callimachus Day? Everyone. You don't need to be a

explain everything to you.

You should have:

* 30 or so minutes of the day (for newbies, after that you can do it
in very small chunks.)

Where to go for Callimachus Day? Come to #callimachus on IRC
(irc.freenode.net). If you don't have an IRC client (or can't install
one) you can follow the discussion using the web client at:
