I presented WebId to Dries Buytaert in August 2009 [1] and he was very interested. We already had an initial php implementation of WebID written by a php expert at af83 a Paris company, who write it in 12 hours. Alexandre Passant has the code I think. It would be nice to get some people to integrate it more deeply into Drupal so that one can just use it with the click of a button.

I am a java developer, and am moving towards Scala, so sadly I can't help by coding there. But I can help guide people from the experience of many implementations.

All the best,
