Doppelganger [1] translates between IDs of entities in third party APIs. When you query Doppelganger with an entity ID, you'll get back IDs of that same entity in other APIs. In addition, a persistent Uberblic ID serves as an anchor for your application that you can use for subsequent queries. APIs supported at launch include Foursquare, Facebook Places, LastFM, Lonely Planet, and others. I'm posting this here although Doppelganger implements none of the Linked Data (uppercase) standards. Yet it supports what I believe is the goal of linked data: enabling developers to use data that is linked across APIs on the Web. Doppelganger docs at [2].
