Re: Europe launches Linked Data support (and how you can benefit from it)

Dear Michael,

Can this be made to apply to online repositories and digital libraries of e.g. Wider Caribbean or American continent spanning projects, which are directly or indirectly funded by the EU?

The University of Texas in Austin has some excellent materials on the Americas that could be linked to additional online resources.

I was thinking in the line of a project like www.europeana.eu but then for the Americas.

Because the history of the entire American continent is linked to a host of European Union nations (England, Netherlands, Portugal, Spain, Denmark and France), such a portal site could be an excellent project.
