Hi everybody, some of you may have already seen that the wiki engine used for esw has been changed from moin moin to media wiki. All the old LOD pages are there (hopefully:-) without any damage and at the same URI-s as before, ie, there should be not real change for you guys. Except that media wiki is faster and more reliable than moin-moin... The only difference in practice is the access control. The old approach on moin-moin (with the requirement of being 'added' to a special page by somebody who already had a writing permission) was really just a hack. On the new version of the wiki you have to log in to the media wiki using your public or member W3C account. (To ask for a public account, you simply have to fill a form on [1], if you are part of a member organization, you most probably have such account already, but you can ask one via the separate form[2]). Note that the access you gain to esw wiki is not restricted to esw; it will also give you access to other wikis, like the SWSWiki[3]).
